The exhibition Bad Medicine examines the importance of craft objects in a time when internet and technology dominate everyday life. Morten Haugmo works with jewelry art in the expanded field, making objects that fluctuate between wearable objects and sculpture installations. Central for his practice is the combination of precious and non-precious materials. Bad Medicine reflects on established hierarchies within jewelry art and challenges them.

Morten Haugmo (b. 1975) graduated BFA from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KhiO) in 2010. He has exhibited among other places in Galleri Svalbard, Longyearbyen, Det Gule Huset, Asker, Kunstbanken, Hamar, and Oppland kunstsenter, Lillehammer.
